
Ingredients :
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon of red pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 thin pork chops
2 tablespoons bacon grease
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups of butter
Chopped fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish, optional
Routes:
Mix together the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper, salt and black pepper in a pie dish. Coat pork chops in flour mixture; shake off the excess.
Over medium heat in the cast iron skillet, melt the bacon grease and oil together well. Gently lay the pork chops in the skillet; fry about 5 minutes on each side until tender Remove pork chops from skillet.
Mix 1 ⁄2 cup flour mixture and butter together well; pour into the pan, stir in the hot fat; bring the sauce to a boil then reduce the heat to simmer until
Return pork chops to skillet; cover with sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the pork chops are cooked through
Season with salt and pepper; garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if using, before serving.
