°2 ounce dry onion soup mix
°1/2 teaspoon of paprika
°2 pounds lean beef broth, cut into bite-sized pieces
°5 medium sized carrots, peeled and diced
°2 to 3 cups baby carrots
° 1 small yellow onion,
°2 cans 10 ounces of cream of celery soup
°1 cup of ketchup, you can replace it with tomato sauce if you don’t like ketchup
In a large plastic bag, combine soup mix with onions and dried peppers. Add the meat and shake the bag to coat the meat with the spices. (You may need to do this step in 2 batches, until all the meat comes in) Once the meat is coated, spread it evenly in a greased 7 quart slow cooker.
Boil the meat evenly with the diced potatoes, carrots and onions.
Combine cream of celery and ketchup in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid. Simmer 8 hours or until meat is tender and vegetables are tender. Stir to combine, then serve.
