  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • freshly chopped parsley

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking tray with parchment paper. In a small bowl combine all the seasonings.
  • Add the chicken wings to the prepared baking tray and drizzle with the oil. Sprinkle with the seasoning mix, then mix very well to coat.
  • Bake for 30 minutes flipping halfway.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine all the Honey garlic sauce ingredients.
  • Once the chicken wings are done, drizzle with the sauce and stir to combine
  • Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

  • The cornstarch makes the wings extra crispy and helps the seasoning stick to the wings.
  • You can use maple syrup in place of the honey.
  • Store the leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
  • Serve the wings with your favorite sauces like blue cheese or ranch dressings.
  • Enjoy these baked chicken wings with celery, fries, carrots, etc.
