
INGREDIENTS :
3 Alaskan king crab legs
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of water
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning divided
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper divided
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
DIRECTIONS:
Use scissors/crackers to cut the crab legs and remove the meat. Set aside.
Discard the casings.
In shallow dish, beat eggs and water until blended. Set aside.
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, 1 tsp Old Bay and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
Whisk to combine and set aside.
In another shallow bowl, whisk together the panko, remaining Old Bay seasoning and remaining cayenne pepper. Set aside.
Dredge meat in flour mixture on both sides and shake off excess.
Dip in egg wash on both sides and tap off excess.
Dip in bread crumb mixture on both sides and press gently so bread sticks.
Fry in 350-375 oil turning periodically until bread is golden brown (about 4 minutes).
Place on paper towel lined drip tray.
