How to make fried chicken in the American way:

1. In a deep bowl, mix the curdled milk with mustard, 2 teaspoons of salt, half a spoonful of ground mustard,

2. Stir the mixture well until completely mixed, then leave it aside.
3. Wash the chicken well and cut it into 8 pieces.
4. Season the chicken with the curd mixture.
5. Leave the chicken in the mixture and put it in the fridge for 1 to 3 days before cooking, so that the chicken absorbs the marinade well.
6. When preparing, in a national bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, minced garlic, the rest of salt, pepper, ground mustard and chili.
7. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
8. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade, keeping the largest amount of liquid sticking to them, then place them in the flour mixture.
9. Toss the pieces in the flour mixture until they are completely covered in the flour and seasoning.
10. Leave the chicken in the bowl containing the flour mixture for an hour, stirring the chicken from time to time.
11. In a non-stick frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
12. Lift the chicken pieces and shake them off any excess flour.
13. Put the chicken in the hot oil and fry it for 8 minutes on all sides, until fully cooked.
14. Remove the chicken from the oil and drain it on paper towels.
15. Serve with salad .
